少し長めの丈で少しルーズなギャザーシャツです。長めのハーフスリーブをくしゃりとひとつ折りあげて生地のしわといっしょに楽しんでください。

This is a slightly longer length, slightly loose gathered shirt. Fold up the long half sleeves and enjoy the wrinkles in the fabric.

私たちのStandardはいつも、ひねりとへそ曲がりの入ったベーシックがテーマです。このシャツのベースは、襟、ヨーク、肩など全てミシンのステッチを極力表に出さないシンプルなシャツ。

Our Standard is always about basics with a twist and a twist of navel. The base of this shirt is a simple shirt with no machine stitching on the collar, yoke, and shoulders.

ミシンステッチが出ているのは右身頃の前立てと裾のみで、台襟の付け根も押さえのステッチは行わずに手でまつっています。

Sewing machine stitches appear only on the right side front and hem, and the base of the collar is also sewn by hand without any holding stitches.

台襟、上前立、袖口の裏はフラックスカラーのフレンチリネン糸のハンドステッチ。表にポツポツと頭だけをのぞかせる、表情豊かな小さなステッチ。

The back of the collar, upper front and cuffs are hand-stitched with flux-colored French linen thread. Expressive small stitching, with only the head peeking out on the front.

そんなストイックで静かで、ミニマルなシャツにデッドストックのフレンチリネンで撚りあげたVintageコードをトリミングして目一杯のパッカリングも縫い皺もおかまいなしに締め上げて太い糸を走らせ、うねらせて表情をたっぷり加えました。

This stoic, quiet, minimalist shirt is trimmed with vintage cord twisted with dead stock French linen and tightened without regard to puckering or wrinkling, and the thick thread is run and twisted to add plenty of expression.

シャツにはあまり使わない箱ポケットを胸に。小ぶりでタバコも入らないuselessな設定のポケットには、布の切れ端を飾るのがお似合いです。

A box pocket on the chest, which is not often used on shirts. A small, useless pocket that doesn’t even hold a cigarette is a great place to display a piece of cloth.

あえて少しむらを残したまま紡がれたリネン60番手の糸で織り上げた、軽さとはりと素朴さも残る感触。上質なリネンの産出地として有名なベルギー、コルトレイク産のフラックスを日本で織り上げたこの生地は、最良の組み合わせの一つです。

Woven with 60 count linen yarns that are spun with a slight unevenness, this fabric has a light, crisp and rustic feel. This fabric is woven in Japan with flux from Kortrijk, Belgium, which is famous for its high quality linen, and is one of the best combinations.

ステッチの無いリラックスした柔らかな印象のスクウェアな衿。

曲線を巻き込んだうねりはもっと表情豊かに風にたなびく裾まわりを作り出してくれました。手縫いで付けたアンティークリネンのガゼット。

The swell of the wrapped curves creates a more expressive hem that flutters in the wind. Antique linen gusset attached by hand.

肩も脇も袋縫いをした後にステッチを行っています。ステッチを表に出さない為の少し面倒な工夫です。アームホールに見えるのは、裏側から巻いたハンドステッチです。

The shoulders and sides are stitched after the French seam is applied. This is a little tedious work to keep the stitches from showing. The armholes show the hand stitching wrapped from the back side.

ボタンはランダムにチョイスしたフレンチヴィンテージのガラスボタンです。有名なチェコやベネツィアの物のように凝ったデザインや、カラフルな色使いの装飾的で高価な物ではなく、庶民や労働者にむけた実質的なシンプルな形がたくさん作られて浸透していたフランス特有のもの。

The buttons are randomly selected vintage French glass buttons.

Buttons are not elaborate, colorful, decorative and expensive ones like the famous Czech or Venetian ones, but something unique to France, where a lot of substantial and simple shapes for common people and workers were made and spread.

白濁したミルク色や、グレー、ブラック、ベージュ。ヴィンテージとアンティークののガラスボタンは、プラスティックがまだなかった頃に、骨や角、貝や金属よりもずっと安価で大量生産ができた、フランスならではのものでした。ランダムに並べた不揃いな色と形もアクセント。

Cloudy milk colors, grays, blacks, and beiges. Vintage and antique glass buttons are unique to France, where they could be mass-produced at a much lower cost than bone, horn, shell or metal, when plastic was not yet available. The randomly arranged mismatched colors and shapes also accentuate the piece.
