1960’s Vintage Rustic Pure French Linen Made Work Pants with Suspenders

フランスはリネンの原料のフラックスの一大生産地。自身の上質なフレンチリネンのブランドを誇るとともに、今なお世界のリネン原料のフラックス（亜麻）生産の80％以上を生み出し続ける昔からのリネン大国です。

France is a major producer of flax, the raw material for linen. It boasts its own high-quality French linen brand and remains a long-established linen powerhouse, still producing over 80% of the world’s flax for linen.

しかしそのフランスも今では、原料栽培以外の工程（特に潤紡よる紡糸はほとんど中国）は国外で行われる事が殆どで、この生地が作られた頃のように、栽培、紡糸、製織全てが国内で行われた純粋なフレンチリネン生地が手に入る事は少なくなってしまいました。

However, even in France today, most processes other than raw material cultivation (especially spinning by wet spinning, which is mostly done in China) are carried out abroad. It has become rare to find pure French linen fabric, like the kind made when this fabric was first produced, where cultivation, spinning, and weaving were all done domestically.

まだ栽培、紡績、製織など全ての工程が国内で行われていた60年代にフランスで作られたのvintageのリネン生地で作ったワークパンツ。

These work pants are made from vintage linen fabric produced in France in the 1960s, a time when all processes, including cultivation, spinning, and weaving, were still carried out domestically.

フランスならではの生地を上から被せて縫い付けるのではなく、くり抜いた部分に接ぎ合わせるように縫い付けモザイク状にpatchした“Travile de Patch”

Instead of simply covering and sewing on fabric, a technique unique to France, “Travile de Patch” involves sewing pieces together into cut-out sections to create a mosaic-like patchwork.

控えめな色のコントラストをつけた綿糸で、1～1.5mm前後の手縫の細かなまつり縫いで繋いだpatch。

PATCH is made of cotton threads with discreet color contrasts, joined with fine hand-stitched blind stitches of around1～ 1.5 mm.
