100年以上前のフランスのアンティークのリネン/コットンのMetis生地で作ったワークパンツ。

Work pants made of antique French linen/cotton Metis fabric from over 100 years ago.

フランスはリネンの原料のフラックスの一大生産地。自身の上質なフレンチリネンのブランドを誇るとともに、今なお世界のリネン原料のフラックス（亜麻）生産の80％以上を生み出し続ける昔からのリネン大国です。

France is a major producer of flax, the raw material for linen used in textiles. In addition to boasting its own brand of high quality French linen, France has long been a linen powerhouse, still producing more than 80% of the world’s linen flax.

しかしそのフランスも今では、原料栽培以外の工程（特に潤紡よる紡糸はほとんど中国）は国外で行われる事が殆どで、この生地が作られた頃のように、栽培、紡糸、製織全てが国内で行われた純粋なフレンチリネン生地が手に入る事は少なくなってしまいました。

However, even in France, most of the processes other than the cultivation of raw materials (especially the spinning by moist spinning is mostly done in China) are now done outside of France, and it is rare to find a pure French linen fabric that is cultivated, spun, and woven entirely in France, as it was when this fabric was made.

年月の経過を映す枯れた質感と色合いが入り混じる生地は、リネン大国フランスならではのもの。

The fabric, with its withered texture and colors that reflect the passage of time, is unique to France, the land of linen.

農家などで汚れ隠しのために、自分達で染めたのではと思われる素朴なIndia Inkの色合いと風合い。

The colors and textures of India Ink are so rustic that they may have been dyed by farmers to hide their dirt.

サスペンダーはVintageのBlack Chanmbray生地から作ったもの。吊るだけでは無く、垂らしてルーズに、普通にベルトで絞ったり。元の持ち主のイニシャルのエンブロイダリー部分を取り入れた、フロントのUselessポケット。

The suspenders are made from vintage black chambray fabric. Not only can they be hung up, but they can also be hung down for a looser look, or belted in the usual way. The Useless pocket on the front incorporates the embroidered portion of the original owner’s initials.
