1960-1970 Vintage Lots of Patched French Wool Tropical Tailor Jacket

60年ほど前にフランスで仕立てられたジャケット。着込まれ、陽に晒された顔つきの愛用と愛着の痕跡と長い時間の刻み込まれた1着です。

This jacket was tailored in France about 60 years ago. It is a piece of clothing that has been worn and exposed to the sun, with traces of love and affection on its face and the imprint of a long time.

ゴージが高く今の着こなしに十分にフィットするテイラーメード。オリジナルは、元のオーナーが、夏に向けての軽いはおりものとして仕立てた事が伝わる、サイドベントが切られた1枚仕立てのジャケット。

This jacket is tailor-made with a high gorge line and fits well enough for today’s dressing style. The original jacket is a single face jacket with side vents, and was originally tailored by the original owner as an easy jacket for summer.

浅く切られたサイドベント。軽く、動きのある表情とアクセントを、後ろ姿に加えています。

少し色あせくたびれた顔つきとは裏腹に、今なお光沢が残り上質さが伝わる、メリノウールの柔らかで清涼感のある生地。

全体的には良い状態の中で、前身頃と袖口の補修から構想を発展させた魅せる補修。

フランスのvintageやantiqueから採った、サテン、サージ、モスリン、フランス綾などなど、さまざまな黒色の生地たち。そこに配した、Antique Biaudeから採ったインディゴリネン生地のpatch。

素材の違い、織の違い、染めの違い、経年の違いで現れるさまざまな黒。古いBiaudeならではの濃く黒く染められたインディゴ。重層的なパッチの魅せる補修。

ステッチを極力表に出さないように、針で布端をすくいながら丹念に手で縫いつけたpatch。

コントラストをつけた色の太い糸で刺子風に縫うpatchとは、全く別世界の1.5～2mmぐらいの細やかなステッチ。

裏地の無い1枚仕立てに加えた、ラスティックなコットンブロードは、適度な張りとシワ感が有り、素朴な糸の表情が魅力です。

ポケットも一旦解体し、裏地をつけて端を少し浮かせて手で掬い縫いで取り付けた丸みと緩やかな立体感のあるポケットに。
